Zimbabwe Airways purchases four Boeing 777 aircraft for $180 million using alleged "stolen public funds." It is also noteworthy that the ever-controversial ex Zimbabwe Pres. Robert Mugabe owns a $400 million Boeing 767 with super plush interior making it fit for royalty while the country is one of the poorest in Africa and struggling for survival. Old Story from April - Zimbabwe Airways doesn't exist. The one Plane they received has been returned. This airline was created by the "old guard" of Zimbabwe.
