Piper Comanche Makes Forced Landing, Woodstock CT

A Piper Comanche attempted an emergency landing in a Woodstock CT cornfield on Sunday September 8, 2013. There were no reported fatalities or injuries and no pilot has been named. From the picture it looks there was substantial damage in the area forward of the cabin and to the landing gear. Apparently, as reported, recovery of the aircraft may have to be postponed until the surrounding corn is harvested. (www.courant.com) More...
