Boeing still expects to get some help from the federal government. Just not the same kind of help that the airlines are set to receive. (www.cnn.com) More...

Boeing wants free money... they will have to look somewhere else.

Simple, no stake, no bailout.

At this moment, everything is speculation. Let's wait until things start settling, then we shall see. A bailout without equitable payback will not fly.

Is this such a crime?
GM did not give the public a stake and neither did Chrysler.

They both got bailed and both paid the public coffers back with interest.

Boeing only needs to pay back the govt with a suitable interest rate.

GM gave the US Government (USG) some 500 million shares of stock when they got bailed out in 2010. I think Chrysler did too (not sure about that one), and Ford declined the bailout option, but did take USG Loans.

Yes Todd...both GM and Chrysler gave shares in their companies to the US government, Canadian government and Ontario government.
