The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey announced that it has shut down one of Newark Liberty International Airport’s two main runways for repaving and the creation of four new taxiways. This is NJ...chances are they will work 6 hours per day and demand extra pay to get it finished during a 60 day extension.

The men actually working, work hard. On projects suck as this one, they may work 24 hours a day in long shifts. However, there are often numerous layers of folks taking their slice of the money without actually doing any or much significant work.

There are likely performance bonuses that are pegged to a timely completion of the project. So don't be surprised if this project is finished on time or even ahead of schedule.
