Atlas Air to acquire Southern Air and its 2 subsidiaries, Souther Air Inc. and Florida West International Airways, Inc. Atlas Air currently operates a fleet of 747 and 767 aircrafts. The acquisition of Southern Air, who operates 777, 757, and 737 aircrafts, will diversify the company and allow Atlas Air to offer its customers a broader array of aircrafts and services.
