BA Pilots: Please Stop Our Strike

In an unusual move, the British Airline Pilots’ Association is urging the new British government to step in to prevent extended strike at the airline, due to start again on May 18 when cabin crew plan to walk off work. BALPA warns that the extent of the strike “will seriously threaten BA’s ability to maintain the job security and terms and conditions of employees in all parts of the company.” (www.aviationweek.com) More...

It was true back in the 70's and it's still true.... I never met an airline pilot who wouldn't taxi over his own Granny to get to his next paycheck.
