Drone operator flew craft within TEN FEET of a packed airliner in pitch darkness

Submitted
It is thought to be the first near-miss at night and was only seen when it caught in the landing lights of the Boeing 777 over Heathrow....It is only a matter of time until we have a disaster from these drones. (www.mirror.co.uk) More...

Matt, the best way is to require all drones have a little short range transponder (like the chip in your dog)to allow the owner to be identified when it is queried. Then like refusing a Breathalyzer, no chip automatically guilty. I guess if we cannot have public floggings, jail will have to do, but I agree with you.
