What about when PAN AM the real Queen of the skies fell victim to the desert floors and liquidators?. not one payout or refund to passengers was given and most of there aircraft scrapped. Still some fly today with other carriers including the B747-SP21's

Most of the pax rights did not come into being until after the demise of PanAm.
