Kingfisher Airlines Cancels 26 Flights as Pilots Strike Once Again

Kingfisher Airlines had to cancel 26 flights on Wednesday as a portion of its pilots as well as engineers did not show up for work in protest of not receiving their salary payments. “The protest was over the delay in payment of salaries for the month of March,” said an airline source. “By evening, some pilots were of the opinion that they should continue flying till August 13, as the management promised them on Wednesday that salary disbursement for March will begin on that date,” he added.… (airnation.net) More...

4 months behind and still not there? It's a wonder they are flying at all. Having no union and that far behind, if it does shut it's doors, they will be left holding the bag. I am glad they can afford to live and work for free for 4 1/2 months

This airline is a disaster waiting to happen . A terminally ill patient being put on an avoidable life support system . A burden on the economy !
