So Delta does well with charters for sports teams and the military. Interesting that the article describes all the plush perks for sports teams. Doesn't mention what the military flights are like. The Auburn official says “We have over 300 people on a 4-hour flight . . we thought it was important to give everyone some breathing room and let them be comfortable and stretch out.” How long is the flight to Afganistan?

The military flights are no different than a typical civilian flight. Jam packed like a any other flight. Well, one difference, stow your weapon in the overhead.

I knew that . . . was just being kind of snarky. Find it ironic how pro athletes always complain how hard their lives are with having to travel all the time, when they get pampered in every possible way and most make millions. Somebody was commenting how sad that so many NBA players had to be away from their families on Christmas; all I could think about was how lucky they're not in Afghanistan.

In looking at the planes, most are from the old Northwest days. Delta just carried over their idea after buying them out.
