Collins Aerospace cutting dozens of jobs this month

Collins Aerospace announced late last week the elimination of 37 positions by the end of the month. A spokeswoman tells Iowa's News Now the cuts will affect the Mission Systems division of the company and the cuts will take effect at the end of the month. (cbs2iowa.com) More...

It's two separate divisions of the company. You can't just rob Peter to pay Paul, especially when it comes to government contracting work.

Yes, but the shareholders expectations need to be addressed. Cuts will come from somewhere and new acquisitions are low hanging fruit
