Submitted
Japan’s ANA Holdings commits to adding up to 20 Boeing 787 Dreamliner Jets. The agreement includes 11 787-10s, one 787-9 and options for five 787-9s valued at more than $5 billion at list prices, plus three new 787-9 airplanes from Atlantis Aviation Corporation. This is ANA’s sixth Dreamliner purchase, once the options are exercised, the deal will surpass 100 airplanes. (news.flightag.com) More...

I hope they’ll stick to the 2-4-2 seating in economy as they have in their present B787s. With the 3-3-3 layout as other airlines have it’s a very uncomfortable flight.

I don't think ANA flies anymore 787 2-4-2 economy configurations. I think they converted them all to 3-3-3. I could be wrong, but I could have sworn I read something about it some years ago.

According to Japan Airlines website their B787s used on domestic flights have 3-3-3 configurations, but international flights are still 2-4-2.

Do you want more comfort or more pollution per passenger? (Devil's Advocate!)

Each human being produces 90,000 ton of CO2 in it's life time. I like more comfort.

A minimal amount of breathing space should be mandatory, before arguing about pollution per passenger.

bless ANA- they gots mucho 787 aircraft and want a few more. They fly them short range(under 2 or three hours) and the long range transoceaniac routes too. so pleased ANA did not buy any airbus 350's, so consider this a later level buy that shows confidence in a suitable product.

Nothing of the sort..why would you buy A350's when you already have maintenance facilities, parts. personal etc setup for the B787. Be stupid to go out and buy a craft that you now have to buy parts etc for,
