More info from Joe Baugher:

"51-6261 North American F-86D-35-NA Sabre (MSN 173-305) WFU Oct 1960. Put on display at Chandler, AZ marked as 52-10115. Donated Oct 5, 1960."

More info from a plaque at the memorial site:

"Chandler's F-86D"

"This F-86d Sabre Dog airplane is on loan from the National Museum of the US Air Force. It was first on display in A.J. Chandler Park in 1961 in recognition of the strong relationship between Chandler and nearby Williams Air Force Base. During a 1980's renovation of the park, the plane was moved a few blocks to the corner of Delaware Street and Chandler Boulevard. It became part of Chandler's Verteran's Memorial here at Veterans Oasis Park in 2021."

Your two snaps of this Sabre-on-a-stick are way better than just excellent, Greg, they are absolutely superb!! Sharp quality and premier viewing angles. I often d/load photos of on-a-stick display warbirds from yesteryear to save in a file for occasional viewing, but I almost never use those pics as Wallpaper photos -- but these are exceptions because these are exceptioNAL. I've got both loaded into a slideshow rotation so they both repeatedly come up as backgrounds. TYVVM for sharing these * x 10 = 10* photos.
