Ahh, yes, Greg, this photo of yours does INDEED provide a closer and more definitive picture of what there is to be seen at 42 degrees N, 9 degrees E. Not having ever been there, I find your post and the other recent snap to be quite informative to me of the geographical features located at that latitude and longitude. The area does appear to be mountainous with valleys. A OUTSTANDING shot, Greg, and thanks for reidentifying it. Oh, yes, I also learned from this click that the 319th Bombardment Group flew B-25s. Five stars for overall pic quality AND for all the info it provides. ;-)
