Hi John ,this has to be from the 60's right this ''Connie '' was the aircraft I fly over to Germany on 1961.

Southern Air Transport - some claim they were a cover company for the CIA. This was probably just a few years before I was there for a couple of years myself. Air America was prevalent, and even sponsored Little League teams. Great photo, thanks.

I flew the L-1049, 1049C, and 1049G. I recall that the H had wing tip tanks??? From the N number I'm guessing this was a C model?? The basic had no PRT's while later models did again some power with the PRT's.
