Boeing 747-200 (G-MKBA) - This guy had some tyre missing and holes on the underbelly when he T/O... Story: On dep from some place in Asia, he hit some debris at speed and caused a massive chunk of tyre to bounce down the under belly of the aircraft causing holes, on landing he broke at such a force the pads were smoking. At a closer inspection it was found the tyre was ok (as it didn’t penetrate all the way though the tyre lining). All they did was put metal tape over the holes and took off again to get a new tyre and proper repair work on the belly.
