This is a slide that I had transferred to CD, so please forgive the less-than-perfect quality (which isn't too shabby considering the slide is a quarter-century old). This pic is the first photo snapped at Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, Maine, to appear in the FA Photo Gallery. Taken in the '80s while I was stationed at the (now closed) Strategic Air Command base. Loring's runway 19R-1L is at the upper right corner. I have posted this same photo previously on two private websites, but this posting to FA is the first (and only) posting of this shot on a national aircraft photo gallery.
