By the time this Tiger took off, the wind was blowing very strongly out of the west. Every aircraft participating in the afternoon's training took off from Runway 25 -- INTO the wind -- except this one. And judging by the bouncing and skidding this Tiger endured as it came off 13R into an intense X-wind, we suspected that "Tinderella" would have chosen to leave from 25 -- IF 25 had been a bit longer. (25 is the shortest of NFL's three runways and, at only 7000 feet, is just half as long as the 14,000 foot long 13R-31L that this Tiger used for takeoff.)
