Apparently that airframe met its demise by overshooting the jetway at Newark and running into the terminal building in 1997.

I LOVED Continental back then --- Ahhh, yes, the old motto; "Proud Tails of Golden Birds" or, ah, oooops, that was OUR motto. Let me see, the actual old phrase was "Birds with Golden Tail" - er, nope, that was OUR phrase too. Aww, anyway, I LOVED Continental. I sure do miss those days. "Bring Back Continental!!"
