Douglas DC-3 (N18124) - Ship 344, NC18124, was originally delivered to Eastern Air Lines December 7, 1937. This was the 10th DC-3 delivered to Eastern and stayed in service with Eastern its entire working life. The registration was changed in 1949 to N18124. On May 1, 1953 ship 344 was withdrawn from service and donated to the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum in Washington, DC where it has been on static display since July 1, 1976.
