North American T-6 Texan (N7757)
Comments
Great shot, thanks
Someone needs to play the "Bad Guy" at airshows.
It is a Canadian Car and Foundry Harvard MkIV. I used to fly N7757 for Challenge Publications/American Aeronautical Foundation. Had a couple of delightful British bits with the round control stick grip and the backwards mixture control.
modified North American T-6 Texan used as a Japanese fighter substitutes in 'Tora! Tora! Tora!' movie. (Harvard 4, Canadian Car & Foundry CCF4- 171)
That is it Al, twas re-build just for the show!
Looks real, but you can't disguise that T-6 wing! Great picture!
FAA records: N712Z is a 1942 Mitsubishi A6M 'Zero'.
N7757 is a modified 1952 Canadian-built Harvard (U.S. T-6)
