Is not it a well-known de La Fontaine's fable ??
If not, it must be written !

A plane flew high in the air
a cheese in his hold
Master Boat, attracted by the smell
Said something along the lines of:
“Well, Hello Mister Plane!
How cute you are! How beautiful you seem to me!
Frankly, if your sound
Matches your wings
You are the Phoenix of all the inhabitants around this airport.”
To these words, the Plane is overjoyed
And in order to show off his beautiful sound
He opens wide his hold, lets his prey fall
The Boat grabs it, and says: “My good Sir,
You ought to learn that every flatterer
Lives at the expense of the one who listens to him:
This lesson, no doubt, is well worth a cheese.”
The plane, ashamed and confused,
Swore, but a little too late, that he would not be duped again
