I got a ride back to the states on a C-5 in '74. They put me in 1st class! A webbed seat all the way forward, not quite to the cockpit! 8 hrs was a little long to be sitting in a webbed seat, I was getting out of the Navy! I found out later that they had had problems with those cargo doors staying sealed.
