Who hires these TSA'ers anyway? Don't understand why we should feel safer after having gone through the security line when we now see it doesn't matter if we 'pass' or not! Fire them all, I say, if $5 or $10 (big bucks!) makes the difference of waiting in line or not. I firmly believe that these types of employees are of a very simple mind set and just don't understand what the purpose of it all really is. Isn't there a test or something that these simple people are required to take in order to achieve such a high-end position of employment? I think we should raise the passing grade from 0 to 100!!
Since I don't know if 'Tracy Sear' is a male or female let me ask this: why are there only males that are responding to this procedure? Outside of possible 'bomb implantation', what else is the purpose?
I, of course, don't know what, if any, other airline will follow suit but whatever the case may be, if one feels that there's a chance a fussy child might be allowed in First Class then, my friend, go to that other airline that has the restriction in place. We DO have a choice in life, thank goodness. I'd like to see some statistics as to how First Class ticket sales have increased as a result of Malaysia Airlines' new ruling.
re chalet's last comment: If there were that many people involved then there was probably not much left per dude to even bother with in this whole scenario and even when you consider the consequences it's not very tempting. Not for that little bit of $. Wonder where he went?
