That's the whole point of it. People in "the government" are getting back at us for daring to slow down the increase in spending. These faceless bureaucrats are going to hurt the entire country with their game playing. I have no doubt that people "in the trenches" are fine, upstanding citizens, but when they join in the game of repeating the lies, then they're just as complicit.
There's no reason to furlough people, shut down White House tours, etc. There is plenty of fat that can be cut out of various budgets and not affect things like the air traffic control system.
The airline stole electronics from you? How about someone got into your luggage. Also, why in the world did you have that much worth of electronics in your luggage? Doesn't seem like the best place to put them.
Are you serious? Closing a few control towers & cutting hours in others isn't going to cause a ""mid-air that rains body parts and flaming wreckage over 10 square miles".
Yes, The One & his wife need to cut their travel, and yes, we need to cut back on foreign "aid", but seriously? You've bought the Kool-Aid being sold by the Federal bureaucrats in the FAA hook, line, and sinker.
THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a bunch of boloney! I'm sick of the stupid games the various Federal agencies are playing right now with the "cuts" that aren't cuts, but a decrease in the increase in spending. B.S.
The guy could have just asked if it was okay to take a photo before he took it. Some folks here are right - there are two sides to every story. Who knows what sort of attitude the blogger came across with?
If it was a "regular" person, they would have slammed the door at the time it was scheduled to be closed & that would have been that. I've seen grown women crying like babies to get on board & they say, "Sorry". That should happen every time every person.
