At 750K lots of people could write a check for that and never need another damm boarding pass! Few chairs and a sofa, couple of lamps and a card table and the days over. American had great galleys and lots of carts and ovens. Stock up on choice of hot grilled cheese or pimento cheese snacks. No more TSA or sassy seat mates. Long delays or flow control! American has plenty of those MD-80s, take your pick and never buy another ticket! Carry On as much as you want!
Words cant express my feelings right now for that airline employee. Do not know who is dumber, it employee or the two idiots for asking for special treatment. So, I will just shut up. I hope the employee got fined, big!
Nice aircraft. I saw the word composite so I suppose the is the answer to the 787 Dreamliner. I really would not know the difference as I do not fly enough. I was shocked when, years ago, I saw a 727-200 power back! I was an airline cater for 40 years and stood in awe as an Eastern plane powered back. Sure was glad I had head sets on!
Has any US airline considered this equipment? I know DL flies to Johannesburg, but I suspect they stop somewhere in Europe I have had friends that really enjoyed the flights on the A380. I have enjoyed flights on a 777, except Air France as the seats in YC were painfully close to each other.
Why don't people dummy up and shut up. This is serious stuff and everyone takes it that way. I agree that a true terrorist would not announce a bomb. Who in here is willing to take that chance. He will do some time for this joke.
Well, kenish, this brings to mind Eastern 401 where the Auto-Pilot was disengaged in error and the L-1011 started loosing altitude. I assume both yokes were moving together and causing the AC to drop slowing as the yokes moved forward. Would this not have happened with the AB sidesticks? Maybe this is the wrong comparison.Just a thought.
I am a Newby here and I think these Squawks are outstanding. I just read about the A340 and it sounded like it was not a popular aircraft with the airlines and did not sell well. I am totally amazed by the joysticks. Are the sticks a trademark of Air Bus or does Boeing install them as well? Thanks.
