Horizon Air Operations Stabilizes

Submitted
After a slew of cancellations over the summer, Horizon Air operations are finally showing signs of stability. The airline even picked up a bunch of pilots who lost their jobs when Island Air shut down. The carrier also plans to resume delivery of their Embraer E-175s starting in March 2018 as well as commence the retirement of 13 of their oldest Q400 turboprops. (www.seattletimes.com) More...

This still begs the question of which way ASA is going to go.

They currently have their own subsidiary bringing in E175s to their fleet, as well as outsourcing some of their regional and lower volume flights to SKW, who also is using E175s on those routes. Which way is ASA going to go? bring in those outsourced routes and feed them to QXE, or drop QXE altogether and outsource everything to SKW?
