Wolverine tries to escape from carrier at New Jersey airport

Authorities say a wolverine tried to escape from its metal carrier at a New Jersey airport and had to be tranquilized. Joe Pentangelo with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says officers were called to Terminal C at Newark Liberty International Airport on Tuesday afternoon. They were told a 40-pound male European wolverine had made a hole in its carrier, which was in a transport van. (m.apnews.com) More...

PBS did a special on hte North American Wolverine. If there is a more determined tougher animal on the planet I sure as heck wouldn't want to meet it.

Seeing how they can eat through a metal carrier.. I would not want to meet one in the dark.
