Great prop blur on that shot Brian.
Slightly nose up almost nil for my taste, ditto for only 10° flaps.
Navy Herk, nuff said. Us old Nam trash haulers, would have been at 100% flaps,not degrees, and the aft end of the plane would have been parallel with the runway surfaceð

True, but this bird probably doesn't have anyone shooting at it nor is worrying about loose PSP ripping the tires! ;) Frankly, I found the challenge in many of the "airports" in Nam much more fun than the concrete runways after that war... This aircraft is the replacement for the C-47 as the most useful and long-lived flying machine ever built!
Roger that, Jim. Gravel rattling of the bottom of the fuselage was quite a symphony too. That old girl could really take it, and still get us home. Most of the time.
