Northrop T-38 Talon (6413176)
One of 9 T-38s that took shelter at Rickenbacker to avoid damage from Hurricane Matthew. Seen here taxiing out to go back home to Langley AFB.

With an F22 Raptor warming up in the background also.
Yeah. We had 32 F-22s here for about 6 days taking shelter from the hurricane. We caught 16 Raptors and 9 T-38s leave.
Gloss black, sleek and sexy!
Always loved the lines of the T-38 and F-5 series.

That's a nice shot, Andrew! And while it isn't the biggest, baddest, or fastest jet fighter, I contend that the F-5/T-38 is the best looking. Well done!
Wonderful shot, Andrew. Living in south Florida, my prayers go to all Matthew's victims.
That is a cool airplane and a great shot-thanks for posting Andrew!
If there was ever a jet considered 'sexy', the T38/F-5 is it! What a great aircraft, my dad recently landed and saw two T-38's on the ramp, later at home when he looked up numbers, he saw that he had flown(taught) in one of them....in 1975....
Like the A-10, you can't keep a good airplane down!
