Cheyenne 400LS retrofitted with five bladed props...KIPT is not too far from the historic home of Piper in Lock Haven PA. The Piper manufacturing facilities in Lock Haven were totally flooded, which was a major disaster for the company in the early 1970s. Nearly completed airframes had to be scrapped...
It's so sad to looks at pictures of the 1972 flood and seeing the aircraft floating down the Susquehanna.
