One of the best exhibits at one of the best museums in SoCal. I believe this is an extremely early one - possibly a YF-14.

Old King of Navy fighter aviation. Nothing today has the speed or the range. Better electronics, sure, but that can be put into any airframe.

David Malsher. You are correct, this is a YF-14, 15-7990. The 11th of 12 pre-production test aircraft.
