YW, Sam. If you ever get out this-a-way, give me some advance word you are coming and I'll arrange for you to get your fill of Hercs. And of lots of F-18s too. (High Five)

Only ones I see now are 914th airlift wing doing touch and gos at KBUF from their base at Niagara Falls AFRS.
I want to get out your way soooo bad...
If your in the buffalo area let me know and I'll take you to my spot...supposedly the closest you can get to active runway and unobstructed view in the US...150-200 ft from taxiway. Planes rotate right in front of you...if you can get a airport diagram it's right across from Charlie next to Alpha right at the intersection of 14/32 and 5/23

Gary, 04-08 I was stationed at hurlburt field 16AMXS/16AMU
I was just a unit crew chief assigned to the gunships, 69-6568, 6569, 6570, 6572, and 6575...
Eventually I was assigned to AC-130H 69-6572 "Gravedigger" that was my baby.
This bird was retired and is gate guard at Cannon AFB in New Mexico...
Last I saw her was retirement ceremony and dedication ceremony few years ago
I believe the others were
69-6568 Cherry
69-6569 Fatal Attraction
69-6570 The Hussy
69-6572 Grave Digger
69-6573 Heavy Metal
69-6574 Iron Maiden
69-6575 Wicked Wanda
69-6577 Death Angel
