Features
Potential Fuel Uplift Calculation
This is our newest, and one of our most powerful features released for FBO's to date. Our proprietary potential fuel uplift calculation feature allows you to quickly see how much fuel an aircraft has consumed on its flight to your facility, and the amount of fuel it is going to consume for its flight out of your facility. This is extremely powerful information when you pull the fuel truck up to the aircraft. When the customer asks for 100 gallons, and you know they have capacity for 500 gallons, that's the information you need to sell more fuel!
Visits to your airport
This is the number of times a particular aircraft has landed at your airport within the 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. These numbers are very useful when evaluating trends in flying, especially when it comes to identifying new transient customers. At a glance, you will be able to see how often an aircraft comes to your airport, and if whether or not that rate is remaing steady, decreasing, or increasing.
Visits to your area
Expand your market! Very similar to the visits to your airport, these numbers are useful in evaluating whether or not a particular aircraft utilizes competing airports in your area. Quickly identify whether or not a current customer of yours also uses surrounding airports, or, quickly identify good potential new cusotmers that utilize other airports.
Operational Data
FlightAware will be able to provide the last 6 months of aircraft operational information for any particular aircraft at any time, provided that the aircraft is not blocked through the NBAA BARR program and flies IFR flights in the US and Canada. This service is valuable to FBO's who may be interested in evaluating the operational habits of a particular aircraft, such as those that are under consideration for being a new base tenant.
Airport Reports
Instantly download the last month of aircraft operational data, including FAA registration information, from your airport into an Excel spreadsheet so that you can perform even more power and customized market analysis and develop super targeted marketing plans.
Flight Alerts
This email based flight tracking tool is a handy feature if you are away from your computer, but have access to mobile email, through a device such as a Blackberry or iPhone, and need immediate notification of a particular flight's status. We email you when the specified flight files a flight plan, takes off, diverts, lands, or cancels. You set the parameters, and FlightAware will email you the information that you need. This tool is especially helpful when you need to know the status of a special customer, or perhaps, you want to keep track of when the boss may be flying into town. Flight Alerts from FlightAware ensure that you are always up to speed on those really important flights.
Flight Crews
Your FlightAware "Flight Crews" are groups of colleagues, associates, friends, and family members that you exchange information (flight notes, fleet lists, aircraft pictures, messages, and more) with. If you enable FlightAware Flight Crew, you can add other users to your Flight Crew and users can search for your account to add you to their Flight Crew. This feature is very useful to FBO's who want to share information about particular flights, customers, pilots, passengers, catering preferences, rental car preferences, etc. among FBO staff and management. Anyone within the FBO organization, properly designated by the leader of the "Flight Crew," will have access to this information, ensuring a continuity of service and proper communication of important information. FlightAware creates automatic Flight Crews for employees of organizations with a significant number of FlightAware membership based on the domain name (e.g., @xyzcompany.com) in your account profile. If you have automatically joined a Flight Crew, you can exchange information with other employees/members of your organization at your discretion. If your organization has an automatic flight crew that you are not a memebr of, make sure that your email address on file in your account profile is your official work/school/etc address. If you would like to request a new automatic flight crew, please contact us.
Blocked Aircraft Notification
Blocked Aircraft Notification is a service provided to verfied FBO operations only, allowing the FBO to see departure airport, time of departure, and time of arrival. This does not allow the tail number to be viewed, but, the information is very helpful when planning for arrivals on the FBO ramp
