Pilot and son killed in NM plane crash; second one in same family

An Arizona pilot and his son were killed in a plane crash in central New Mexico. This same pilot was involved in a fatal crash in 2005, in which another son was also killed doing touch and goes. The father was watching from the ground as his son practiced landings. The plane crashed, the father removed the body from the wreckage; and took it home to allow the family to say goodbye. Phoenix, Az. 1970s - 1980s the name Jerry Foster was synonymous with all things television aerial reporting. He was a maverick, a pioneer , and to many a hero. He brought the Helicopter into our living rooms with daily reports, dramatic rescues, and service to the local law enforcement agencies. Starting with a gyro copter in 1972; and finally retiring from a Jet Ranger in the late 80s, Jery Foster's life has been exciting and storied.
