Traveling the World, One Ferry Flight at a Time

Submitted
There’s a whole wide world of flight outside of instructing and freight dogging and airline flying. There are many interesting and rewarding ways to make a living in and around airplanes, and Sarah Rovner seems to have hit upon one of the more adventuresome ones. (www.flyingmag.com) More...

The FLYING article is interesting. Thank you for posting it. My comment has to due with the aircraft she is ferrying. The Cessna 210 was featured in a series of YouTube videos about three young men flying from Boston to Austria. The four or five videos that chronicle the trip are interesting from a piloting perspective as well as simple entertainment. The initial YouTube video URL is: https://youtu.be/W9Uf-ynoDUE. One of the fellows was Matt Guthmiller, known for his solo circumnavigation at age 19.

I think we have seen this before. The picture was taken at BGSF in western Greenland. It is the hub for Air Greenland and boasts a daily non stop to Copenhagen Denmark. I have dome the crossing westbound twice in a C208 Grand Caravan.. Exciting stuff
