Michelin stars in the sky: Cathay Pacific's new menu
Cathay Pacific teams up with Swire Hotels to attempt fine dining in a metal tube in the air (www.cnngo.com) More...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
I had the lobster salad on Cathay last month and it was fantastic.
On my plane I have had the likes of chicken of the sea tuna on wheat bread! With a Perrier I might add. So there. Lol
Not quite sure why this is a news event....Swire Pacific is the largest shareholder of Cathay Pacific and of course the Swire Hotel Group. This is more like an advertizing release.
That said, CX served the finest food I have ever had on a flight YVR to HKG and back and I am at a loss to imagine how it could have been better.

Just curious which class you flew? Thanks
It was Business...upper deck on a 744...only better travel food and service I have ever had was on Blue Train from Capetown to Pretoria.
