Frontier cuts 14 routes, pulls out of 1 city in latest network shake-up
It's not all growth for Frontier Airlines, as the carrier has just quietly filed plans to exit a number of markets. The Denver-based carrier will cut 14 routes from its network, and it'll also end service to Rochester, New York, on May 8, as first seen in Cirium schedules and Ailevon Pacific data, and later confirmed by a carrier spokesperson. Next to Spirit, the worst airline ever. Zero communication from their staff, carry-on bag charges just because you must “push” your bag into the template box, an app that doesn’t update times even though flights are clearly delayed, and flight cancellations that occur seconds before boarding. No, don’t even try to change my mind.
So true. Besides these two airlines, I call into question, Breeze
airways as well
airways as well
AMERICAN AIRLINES HANDLED FRONTIER GROUND CREWS WHEN THEY FLEW OUT OF IAH..AFTER A WHILE,THEY CUT SERVICE AND STARTED FLYING OUT OT HOBBY,THEN WENT BACK TO IAH AND HOU..I GUESS HOU IS NOT AS COMPETATIVE BECAUSE OF SOUTHWEST..BUT THEN SOUTHWEST IS ONCE AGAIN FLYING FROM BOTH HOU AHD IAH..YOU NEVER KNOW..!
Take your pick- full service with high fares or low fares which, in order for the airline to afford to offer must come at a price...such as 'pampering the customers'. In other words-you have travel choices so choose an airline that works for you and stop whining.

Not unique to Frontier. Since travel demand started to rebound after the covid shutdowns, it seems many airlines have aggressively reopened routes and added new city pairs, hoping to get the jump on the competition. They’re just as aggressively pulling the plug on routes that don’t meet the airlines’ maybe fanciful targets for passenger loads and future bookings.
