What's wrong MH370? Your precious Airbuses apparently can't keep their CoG stable and cargo tied down! (simpleflying.com) More...

The fail in this is strong. You're comparing a design flaw due to bigger engines and faulty software to moving cargo displacing the CoG. Two separate, exclusive things.

But I digress; This also happened to NCR102, which crashed at Bagram AFB in Afghanistan for the same reason, so let's jump on him for that! Oh, wait: that was a B747.

Yet you make this an A vs. B issue and flog a user for it, when so far, all the articles he's posted have mainly been spot on. Like someone said before, nobody cares about that. Boeing screwed up, Airbus is eating them for lunch, yet right now both are going to hit the crapper because of COVID

The point here is if you're going to take someone to task about something, at least be right about the issue. Otherwise, you get called out.

Maybe I am slightly dim here ? BUT from the flight path shown ? was that Aircraft going to Soul (South Korea) because to me it looks like it was going NORTH and not South ? but maybe I am not understanding here sorry !!!!

Paul - aircraft fly a route called the "Great Circle", which is the shortest route to the destination. On a "flat map" from Paris to Seoul, this would appear to initially be heading north.

(Damn, hit enter too quickly)
On the map, measure the distance between Paris and Seoul .... (right click on Paris, select measure distance, do same on Seoul).

Thanks Viv, I guess the only silly question is the one that you never ask ha ha ha. I feel an idiot for looking silly here ? but at least now I know WHY that Aircraft was doing what it was doing.
Thanks for your reply back and for taking the time to explain how that all works.

All good. Glad I could assist in some small way. No such thing as a silly question.
