Transport Canada to independently assess changes to the Boeing 737 Max
Transport Canada insists it will be doing its own independent validation of Boeing’s proposed changes to the troubled 737 Max jet meant to fix design problems suspected in two fatal crashes. While Canadian officials say they are working closely with Boeing and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration on the modifications, they are making clear that their own concerns must be addressed before the jet is cleared to fly again in Canada. I think that we can all remember the days when Boeing , DC/MD and Lockheed where fielding a variety of commercial Aircraft , for Airlines all over the World ; if the FAA signed off and gave each type it's certificate of Air Worthiness , that was good enough for the Airlines and the Regulators in each country . But sadly ,now the FAA is not to be trusted , and each country such as Canada , are indicating that their regulators now want the FAA to prove it to them ( Transport Canada ) before the Max will fly in Canada . I am not sure of what other countries will do . The Countries that have long established and knowledgable agencies , ( European ) may also question the FAA and want the FAA to prove their results to them too . This is such a downer for the FAA to be dis-trusted . As for Boeing , since they where the ones who played fast and lose with the rules and scammed the FAA , i wouldn't even want to hear from them as they are proven liars . So i would ignore Boeing completely . I have been hearing that if what i describe happens , there will be a patchwork of air space where the Max's are allowed to fly , and where , for the time being , are not . While this article is about Transport Canada , and has not attracted any attention , it is the emerging story for the Max in all countries that Opperate it . Stay tuned .
