Spirit Airlines passenger banned for life after vaping on flight
(CNN) — A 30-year-old Spirit Airlines passenger on a flight from Detroit to New Orleans recently got himself banned for life after deciding to take a smoke break in the plane's bathroom. An attendant on Flight NK 985 told a deputy on Tuesday that she saw him take a drag from an e-cigarette and exhale into a bag, said Jefferson Parish Sheriff's spokesman Capt. Jason Rivarde. He is only banned from spirit airlines though. he can go on other airlines right?
If they haven't already tagged him as a risk possibly. Vaping or smoking are fire ignition risks plus alleged drinking, if proven, shows a lack of common sense and responsibility. This guy is 30 and he doesn't know about these restrictions? Doubtful!
Seriously, not only with posting placards everywhere, flight attendants reminding you no smoking is allowed. No excuse at all.
This law really has no teeth for Mr. Puffaroo. Banned for life on SPIRIT Jokelines. If you want to put an end to it tell him to take the train because he has been banned on all domestic carriers here and in Europe. Oh, try to explain to your clients why a nice fellow like you has a global ban on all flights. Don't be an imbecile on flights just be quiet and pretend to enjoy the movie.
