New U.S. budget carrier Moxy confirms the order for 60 Airbus A220-300

Mobile - The new U.S. budget startup Moxy Airlines has placed a firm order for 60 A220-300 aircraft. Founded in June 2018, Moxy Airlines is a new airline led by David Neeleman, who previously co-founded Morris Air, WestJet, JetBlue, and Azul Linhas Aereas. There's been a Moxy Hotel by Marriott since 2014, I wonder how long that name will stand... kind of like JetBlue was to be called "Taxi" once upon a time....

There used to be an Atlantic Southeast Airlines. Not sure if they're in business anymore.

They are not in service anymore. They were merged into expressjet and ceased operations on December 31, 2011.

Oh David, David, the incorregible airline-after-airline-after-airline founder. When he sold out Morris Air to Southwest, Herbert Kelleher (who by coincidence just passed away (RIP) yesterday), kept David at SWA just for just five months as he could not stomach David's impossible hell-bent fixation to found a new airline every a few years.
