Iran Air hopes to receive three new Airbus and eight ATR before the US sanctions take effect. Before the US sanctions take effect at the beginning of August this year, Farzaneh Sharafbafi, the CEO of the Iranian state-owned company explained at the IATA Annual Meeting in Sydney that he hoped to receive eleven new planes.
