Boeing’s San Antonio mechanics ignored warnings, rushed Air Force One contract

The Boeing Co. ignored warnings and provided lax supervision to an overworked and inexperienced staff that caused $4 million in damage to Air Force One’s oxygen system last year, the Air Force concluded in a critical report detailing systemic problems with the company’s San Antonio maintenance facility.
