FAA Rescinds Ban on U.S. Aircraft, Pilots in Turkey

The FAA today rescinded a Notam it issued on Saturday prohibiting all U.S. airlines, commercial operators and pilots from flying into Turkey until September 1, following a failed military coup in Turkey on Friday. The FAA said it would review its position by August 15, and it did so today after the situation in Turkey quickly restabilized following the failed coup. (www.ainonline.com) More...

I would not be surprised if the re-enable the ban tomorrow! At least they would be somewhat consistent!
