Norwegian Air orders four more Boeing 787s

Norwegian Air has signed a letter of intent that will add four more Boeing 787 Dreamliners to its long-haul fleet, boosting the total to 14, the low-cost airline said on Thursday Feb. 13. Money talks, and it appears that the problems suffered by Norwegian Air are not enough to slam shut the checkbook.

Just proof that the well publicized variations from perfection on the 787 are not as great as the popular press would have us believe.

Norwegian Air International gets an Irish AOC, Norwegian to operate 14 Boeing 787s

Norwegian Air International (Dublin) has received its Irish Air Operator Certificate (AOC). Norwegian Long Haul will now shift its Boeing 787s to NAI. Norwegian will now operate 14 787-8s and 787-9s when all are delivered. Read the full story from WorldAirlineNews.com.
