Actually it got off and went to TUL, about a 26 minute flight. It got off with no major effort, at least it didn't appear to

As of 2:PM Central, it is still there but it has filed to go to Tulsa. A whopping 28 minute flight covering 156 miles.

That's pretty funny; flying to Meigs for repairs. If they get that done their pilots can land anywhere.

The Dreamliner got so much more attention for landing at the wring airport. That's because it's such an unusual and big airplane, and it landed on such a short runway.

But this Southwest plane was carrying 124 additional passengers and 3 additional crew members.

Apparently it shows that many pilots are routinely not using their nav equipment, when identifying their landing location.

It was one if those times that I was happy autocomplete 'finished' the word, but then wondered later*, if "I" had written the wrong name.

* later - when reading the name Dreamlifter on the long thread.
