Dutch Airline Fuels Its Flights With Used Cooking Oil
KLM initiated the project recently as an experiment to see if it could reduce its carbon footprint with a more eco-friendly fuel. Looks like a classic case of Choose your Poison. If they used Louisiana used cooking oil, all the spices and peppers would cause engine overheating. If they used Dutch used cooking oil, then several bitterballen fragments would get stuck in the fuel lines. And RR engines are already finicky as hothouse orchids!
