Why Iran’s New Home-Grown Stealth Fighter Will Never Get Off the Ground

Submitted
On Feb. 1, 2013, Iran unveiled its indigenous fighter jet named "Qaher 313″. The prototype of the Q-313 (or F-313 according to the stencils applied to the aircraft), was presented to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and publicly displayed as part of the Ten-Day Dawn ceremonies held in Iran to celebrate the 1979′s victory of the Islamic Revolution. I thought that they put a monkey named Ahmadinejad in orbit. What's going on?
HawkEagle
Here you're wrong, it is Ahmadinejad when he was a child..lol

There's video of a "test flight" on youtube, along with several angles of the plane trying to make it look like they didn't copy GI Joe. It's from Iranian news, so no subtitles are available.

I say we should help them out in their research.....let's help them determine if it is missile-proof

looks to be about the size of a Cessna 310.....to small to really carry much in the way of munitions....looks like a typhoon, f35, f22 and f117 all mixed into one big joke

I actually did think that it looked like a mix of those, though I can't judge the size

A few days ago these jerks displayed with great fanfare a fighter that actually flew with which they claimed that they will conquer the skies. Upon close observation it was one of the few remaining Northrop F-5s they bought in the 70s with a modified tail, insead of the single rudder they welded a double rudder a la F-18. Any Israeli air force pilot could shoot down any of those contraptions using a BB gun or even a sling.

They can only make flying carpets but with one caveat: they don't promise that they will actually fly (LOL!!!)
HawkEagle

Iranian Stealth Jet Said To Be A 'Laughable Fake'

There seems to be no shortage of braggadocio coming from the Iranian press of late. They have recently claimed to have shot a monkey into space, which has been questioned by the U.S. State Department, and now they say they have a stealth fighter nearly comparable to western 5th generation aircraft. But analysts who have looked at photos of the plane call it a "laughable fake."

Aviation experts say new Iranian stealth jet is a pathetic hoax that can’t even fly

Iran now claims it has its own homemade, radar-beating stealth fighter jet.

But aviation and defense experts say the tiny one-seater looks like a toy and might not even be able to fly — calling it a “laughable fake.”
