Military drone mistaken for ‘UFO’ along DC highways
A saucer-shaped object on a very wide flatbed truck had some people wondering if the government was moving a UFO in or near Washington, D.C., Wednesday night. The truck came south on I-270, then took the inner loop of the Capital Beltway from Montgomery County into Prince George's County. When motorists snapped photos of the strange object and posted them on Twitter, some people became concerned enough to call local police. There is nothing secret about the X-47 project. Northrop Grumman has been providing updates as to its progress for years now. I just can't believe 911 was called because of it. Really people?
I saw this on I-57. I figured it was a military drone, but couldn't be sure. I can't believe that it was transported on the open road like this.
I agree that I can't believe that they would do that also. It must not be a secret device used by the military if they would do that ,and if it is secret it brought lots of attention
Strange everyone forgets that UFO stands for unidentified flying object, not hostile 10th generation alien aircraft. When someone sees a UF0, it should mean that they see an aircraft which they can't identify :)
